Misty was born in Harristown Ill, moved to Missouri when she was 12 and then on to Oklahoma. 

She's worked as a journalist for a local newspaper and a content writer for several businesses. Although she loves the work, her true passion is storytelling. 

Misty would tell tall tales to the neighborhood children when she was little. She continued the storytelling with her children and now her grandchildren.
